Admissions Policy
Every Stockport school and nursery follows Stockport's School Admissions Policy, which explains how places are allocated.

WHITEHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL - ADMISSION AND PRIORITY AREA.
Whitehill Primary School has a Planned Admission Number (PAN) of 30 children in each of its classes and a total of 40 part-time Nursery places (20 children in the morning and 20 children in the afternoon).
Whitehill Primary is an inclusive school and accepts admission applications from all - regardless of area. However, if the demand for places exceeds our admission limit, children from the priority area (see list below) are offered places first and then selection is made on a sibling and geographical basis (i.e. distance from home to school).
It is vital that you make your application for Nursery and Reception places in good time. Please note the application deadlines stated below:

In-Year Transfers
If you are looking to transfer schools during the school year, please refer to Stockport's guidance here or contact the school office. All in-year transfers are managed by Stockport Admissions Team.
Waiting Lists
If the year group you are requesting is full, you will be added to the school's waiting list by Stockport Admissions Team. Once a place becomes available, you will be contacted by Stockport's Admissions Team to offer you a place.
